The Course

The golf course lies in the gently contoured Tud river valley, providing players with a number of holes that bring the river and man-made lakes into play. Move your mouse over the hole to view a description and click the link to view an enlarged image of the hole.

: Hole 1
Our signature hole and what an opening hole! From an elevated tee you play over the river Tud and with water to the left and behind the green, it’s a good idea to make sure your warmed up for your first shot. A great Par 3.; Hole 2
Stroke index 1 hole and rightly so. Water hazards can be found to the left and right on your tee-shot but at 448 yards, distance as well as accuracy is also a premium. A long green awaits your approach shot. A four here is a great score.; Hole 3
A short Par 3 but don’t be fooled by the yardage. Played up the hill to a two tiered green, your distance control is vital. Too short and the ball could spin back off the green. Too long and you could leave yourself an “Augusta” like putt. Be warned!; Hole 4
Par 5 Dog-Leg up the hill to the right. Out of bounds all the way down the right but a good tee-shot will set up a birdie opportunity.; Hole 5
Another Par 5 with trees left and right. Your approach shot must always be played left of the flag. The green has many contours and although this is a definite birdie opportunity a three putt is always a possibility.; Hole 6
A short par 4. The sensible shot is to lay up short left of the green which leaves the easiest approach shot. Drivable for the long hitters, watch out for the pond left of the green. A good birdie opportunity.; Hole 7
An accurate tee shot will set up a short approach shot into a two tiered green. Vital to be on the same level as the pin, use the slopes to assist you and you could make birdie.; Hole 8
A short Par 4 dog leg. Another two tiered green this is drivable but unless you hit the green there are dropped shots lurking everywhere. A long-mid iron to the corner of the dog leg will leave a short iron uphill. Another split level green, it's easy to underclub on your approach.; Hole 9
A Long Par 3, the tee shot is best played up the left hand side. The green is "bowl like" and will gather in the good shots to leave a birdie opportunity. An errant tee-shot could leave you struggling to make bogey.; Hole 10
Par 4 Dog Leg. Out of Bounds left and water on the right from an elevated tee makes accuracy the key. The hole then sweeps left up the hill, through the trees to a sloping green. A definite birdie opportunity but danger awaits!; Hole 11
A short par 4 with water on all around the back and side of the green. The sensible play is a mid iron off the tee, the "would be" Tiger will try and fade it round the trees in search of the green. A real "risk and reward" hole.; Hole 12
A dog leg par 4. It's over 200 yards to the corner of a very sharp dog leg. The brave may try and carry the trees and out of bounds to the right but there is little to gain. Always a good four on your card but look out for that front pin position. Beyond the flag and it's a treacherous putt.; Hole 13
A tunnel of trees with out of bounds to the right. A large bunker guards the green, this hole is a "card wrecker". A great golf hole but unlucky for some.; Hole 14
Another long Par 3 played from an elevated tee position to a large green you must not miss it on the right hand side or you could be out of bounds. With bunkers protecting the front of the green a three on this hole is a great score.; Hole 15
Avoiding the bunkers on this Par 4 is the key to the tee-shot. Approach the green favouring the left and you will set up a birdie opportunity. A wild tee-shot here will be punished.; Hole 16
Another par 4 which requires accuracy off the tee. The hole can be played by landing short and running on or the green is receptive to good shots. The big hitter can go for the green if the wind allows but beware the out of bounds down the right!; Hole 17
A tough par 4 that gives nothing away. The River Tud runs through the fairway at around 230 yards which leaves a long shot through the trees to a large green. Only the biggest and bravest of hitters will try and carry the river. This hole requires you to be at your best. One of the best par 4's you will play but you may stand on the next tee with a sad tale to tell.; Hole 18
A fitting climax to your round, you must find the fairway off the tee. The river can be carried with a long tee-shot but it must be accurate. You will cross the river Tud for the last time to a green set in the hillside underneath the clubhouse and patio affording your fellow golfers a full view of your excellent approach shot. Soak up the applause as you sink your final putt and retire to the clubhouse for a well earned drink. If only golf was always this enjoyable!; Hole 19
Once you have successfully sunk your last putt you can retire to our clubhouse bar and member's lounge, where you can relax with a drink, or choose a meal from our extensive bar and a la carte menus.
